Plug Contest!!!
Welcome to our Annual Plug Contest! To participate, like us our page on any public social media platform including TikTok, Facebook, or Insta @Smartassplantmoms, and tag us everywhere you think is appropriate! This can be in another plant group, on a plant page, even in your local moms group. The object is to drop our name as many places as you can to gather up all those other Smartass Plant Moms that are lost in the wild and bring them to the dark side!

When you tag us, grab a quick screen shot for verification. Admins will follow it back and LIKE the post to make sure you know we saw it.
- Post the link and your screenshots in the comments of the Facebook business page announcement to keep a running track of all your entries!
- All entries will be verified as legitimate prior to the April 20th drawing.
- Please note that if your link is removed or invalid, it will not count towards your entries.
- Each individual post/link is a unique entry so there’s plenty of opportunities to win!
- Don’t forget to follow the Facebook business page or subscribe to our newsletter for the winner announcement on April 20th.
- Any one caught cheating their entries will be eliminated from the contest.

Listen, if you’re feeling extra cheeky and just want to tag us at @smartassplantmoms everywhere, we’re not complaining. In fact, we’re all about that shameless self-promotion, so go ahead and spread the love. We’ve got a whole slew of memes, fun sharable content, and TikTok goodness coming your way this week, all aimed at keeping you out of trouble with group admins.
We’re going to do a mystery box with a variety of merch including exotic plants (of course), tshirts, pots, did I mention plants, products, and much more.
Getting around profanity filters
The fb back end AI and a lot of groups have the strict profanity filter, ass often is blocked! A way around this is to write your comment, link the group or business page when it links, enter a space, then drop your cursor into the space after the last S in ass and before the P in Plants, delete smartass, and it should keep it hyperlinked right to the group or page, whichever one you happen to share. Attached is a tiktok clip of how I get around it.

Sharing on facebook groups
One of the easiest ways to share without sharing is Smartassplantmoms.com blog post about permethrin located here. There’s always a ton of posts every day about bugs and that blog is an awesome way to share a reliable product solution as well as our community! Plus, admins of other groups don’t mind this particular share because it’s not outright in their face promotion! Two birds one stone so to speak!
